i believe that k2, sobipro and zoo are not exactly open source since, even if the extension is itself is free to download, well the other fields as simple as a simple date field, cannot be inserted not until we buy something from either one of them.
what do you want to do with a form with textfields or text areas only? Sure anyone of you representatives might say 'well dude, we work for a living and you must pay for what we are offering' and, to that, I might reply that I'm not disputing this but you should be honest enough to tell the truth.
Finally there isn't really a truly open source content construction kit in joomla and, ifever there is, well it's not well supported and to that, I sadly understand.
