This was a fun BM but doesn’t hold a candle to the Holmdel MAD which imho was the best of the year and should have been seeded a 1 or 2!

Not the best Madh of the year but close. Peter’s synth work really takes this one to the next level. I didn’t have this Big Modern ranked but it has some really excellent full band interplay. Super enjoyable listen.

Not sure why this Madhuvan is not ranked higher. What a great jam!
Although this isn’t the best Big M!, I voted for it. This Madhuvan is fine but at times derivative of other jams. Jmho, but there were 3 (yes, 3!) better Madhuvans than this one this year - Port, San Diego and Fiddler’s Green in that order. Sadly the Port Mad didn’t make the cut, but time will vindicate it.
I didn't rank this Big Modern!, but I definitely should have. It's really good, way better than I remembered and undoubtedly my favorite one they've played so far (limited sample size). That said, not much competition for this monster Madhuvan. Sorry young upstart song; you'll need to keep getting better.

This Madhuvan has JOTY potential. IMO better than Fiddlers!
I'm half tempted to throw this BigMo a pity vote because even though I had it at #64 vs Madh at #15, these sound waaaay closer than that to my ears during a side-by-side listen. Or maybe that's just the mood I'm in today. But I'm gonna perpetuate the chalk today. Holmdel Madh sails through to the next.

Madh by a country mile. Missed my top 10 by 1. An extraordinary performance head to toe, sliding in/out of floating extended exploratory sections and heavier psych rock sections. Many Madhs do this, but few this smoothly and effortlessly.
Not much to say about the BMo; there are better ones.
I had this Madhuvan as my #1.
Excellent Big Modern jam with some driving bass from Trevor. The Madhuvan tension build and release section puts it over the top.
2024 really had some fantastic Madhuvans, and this one is a great little slice of that world. This Big Modern is also fantastic tho! Hard choices
My favorite Big Mo of the year. Looks like it will get taken down though. This Mad is great as well.
