Gordon Brown did not have any say in the decision to release the Lockerbie bomber (no matter what people think). It was a totally Scottish decision and I am not sure if there would be any point to him breaking his silence. He really did not have a say in what happened. However, my sympathy does go out to the relatives of those who were lost.
