What is the most frustrating mode of travel in winter weather?

I've done all four and even cycled in winter (studded tires are heavy but awesome on ice). Flying is such a pain in the ass any time of the year but put in snow delays on top of that, forget it!

How could anything BUT walking be the most frustrating mode of travel? I'd rather sit in an airport on a plane en route to someplace away from the storm instead of walking head down, hands shoved in pockets, through 6" to 3' of snow. Often that is only from the car to the door or vice-versa...

If you voted for anything else you must have never had to walk far in winter weather.

plane by far. its the most effected by wintry precip. Long delays and waits. just so much precaution that is taken with this. i rather be driving in it than flying

I was going to say it's most frustrating when you have a rear-2WD vehicle in front of you and they don't know how to drive on ice/snow. Air travel in winter, the delays and cancellations are even MORE frustrating.
