How shold the US Military deal with gays and lesbians?

Let them serve openly. Have a strict uniform code of conduct that blanketly applies to all, regardless of sex or orientation.

Keep the current Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy.

Conduct witch hunts and flush all gays and lesbians out of the military.

I'm really not sure either way.
