I chose to get admission for an undergraduate course at University of Mauritius because

UoM is the best university where brightest students are selected and occupy high-profile jobs in Mauritius and abroad

UoM has the best campus in terms of infrastructure and facilities (Gymnasium, Computer labs, Cafetaria, Common rooms, Lecture theatres, Library etc.)

The price for an undergrad degree course is cheaper (less than Rs. 25,000 per year) than other institutions (UTM, CTI etc)

I am a bursary holder at the UoM

UoM has the courses which I want to study unlike other local universities

The level of academic staff in terms of pedagogy, student counselling, and research is higher than any other local university
