is this really true? if the money isnt going to help or rescur animals, where is it going? I mean people work for HUSU and so i get that they have a salary for working their, but are they really not helping animals? where did this info come from, Please reply. hidabee@att.net
SORRY... Meant why does the HSUS not keep track of the kill rates of animals from these raids?... HSUS and ASPCA do virtually the same thing with these animals.. The only real difference in the way you handle these raids is that the HSUS doesn't even own one shelter to care for the dogs at all whereas the ASPCA at least has their own shelters although they only care for the "small portion" that they want from the raids.. As with the HSUS , the rest of the dogs are sent to shelters all over the country for someone else to have to content with... The ASPCA, as you can see in the last few "hoarder and puppy mill life saving raids", sends many or most of their dogs to Atlanta HS... IF you look up the kill statistics for Georgia, Ga shelters have the highest overall kill rates of any "rescues" in the country... Why would the ASPCA OR the HSUS send THEIR "puppy mill and hoarder raid dogs to places like this you ask"? THe answer is simple...In these already overcrowded, high kill rate shelters, the dogs could easily be "lost in the system.. Since neither the HSUS OR ASPCA KEEPS NO TRACK RECORD OF HOW MANY OF THESE DOGS ARE KILLED ( YOU CALL IT EUTHANIZED TO MAKE IT SOUND PRETTIER), the unway donating public ACTUALLY BELIEVES THAT YOU ARE SAVING THESE PUPPY MILL AND HOARDER RAID DOGS.. I don't mean to your the HSUS own sanctuaries. Most people assume that when the HSUS in the past showed abused, battered dogs in MOST of their commericals that they are using the money to care for dogs.. By that I mean that the HSUS employs vets and has facilities of their own bought with the average 100Myr+ donation money to care for these animals. If u follow most HSUS raids online, it is quite apparent that they do not care for these animals that infact, just as in their last "rescues", KERN COUNTY was listed as the agency that took the animals. Anyone can look up Kern County Humane Society online and see that they have one of the worst kill rates of any shelter in the country..Most people assume that when the bulk of you advertisements are built around "dogs, puppy mill and hoarder raid/rescues", that you are spending that money to save these animals.Just as I did for years. If I had known that you were sending these dogs to other rescues to care for, home and even euthanize these animals, I would have donated to the people who were doing the real work.. ANd I WOULD not have donated to any rescue that was infact already over crowed and killing 60-70percent of the animals that you guys were rescuing..As I asked you in a previous conversation a while back, WHY DOES THE ASPCA DONT KEEP TRACK OF HOW MANY OF THESE "RESCUED" PUPPY MILL DOGS ARE EUTHANIZED?
