I TOTALLY and vehmently OPPOSE. October through December are some of the best months to be outside enjoying nature.

I totally agree with Anne Davies' comment, i. e., I also vehemently oppose the current proposal.

Hunting season should not equal the absolute END of feeling safe riding, hiking, or just being outdoors. I cannot even count the number of times we've had hunters spot lighting our HORSE FIELDS (hell0?), routinely shooting from and into our private land less than 50 yards from our house without persmission -- often waking us at 4am! Asking for one day of the week for a reprive from this group's lawbreaking tendencies and reckless disregard for private property (and its residents) is not asking that much. It's ONE DAY. They should feel fortunate that's all we're asking for. I strongly oppose this bill.

Enough already! I live on a small parcel that is "landlocked" by large parcels that are hunted on by the landowners. I have no problem with the hunting, but Sunday is the only day of rest we get from shotguns waking us up at dawn. It's bad enough that the hunters shoot so close to our home as it is. Sunday is also the only day during the long season I feel I can safely wander off my property to hike or ride. The hunters blinds are often set up trail side and it seems rather unfair this will render the trails practically useless for recreation during the four months of hunting season.

Anne Davis said it very well!

I already stay away from certain up county parks Mon-Sat because many private landowners choose to set up deer stands right along the public/private border of their property. I would at least like to have Sunday to enjoy these lands w/o concern of disturbing someone's hunt or fear of my own safety.
And Sunday hunting on private lands would only compound an increasing loss of access to many parks throughout the fall and early winter due managed hunts on public lands.
I strongly oppose this bill.

Sunday hunting, in its presently limited form, is already disruptive. It makes rural Montgomery County into a shooting range on both days of the weekend, limiting all the other activities usually enjoyed in the Upcounty area. I vehemently oppose this proposal!
