  ^ This is a popularity contest set to see which of the members in the poll is most-liked by the fans (the voters). It is an overall-liked poll, which helps give a fair advantage to members that are skilled in something or some fans don't know about. eg.: People refer to Captain as being the best dancer, but some fans only see other members or haven't watched her dance. Going by hearsay isn't necessarily a positive... (Sorry if I just failed in my explanation)

  i know its like this for a while... but wouldnt the polls be more interesting and more fair if there was a Q attached to it ???

  Voted for Dawa, she never wins a poll! And I'd love to see her get more lines too :(

  Not much preference in this one
  Was tempted to vote for DAWA 'cause she's so cute,
  But I ended up voting for Captain
  I think it's 'cause I prefer her voice over DAWA's
  (But both need more lines - DAWA always has the least)

  the polls should be
  Airi + Momusu
  Berryz K + Cute
  S/mileage + soloists + 9th gen momusu

  love saki too shes really cool... yuukarin is REALLY CUTE
