Not too much to love about carmichael any more. I've lived here since 1971. It used to be a place where people were proud to live. Not any longer. Very sad.

Kind of a sad commentary on how the residents perceive their community. Just a place with trees near the river. Too bad the county can't understand there's more to a community than trees.
We need community identity, great shopping and restaurants, and a place that wants us to walk down the main streets.
Oh well at least the wellness and sustainable health shops like it here!
