I wish I had a Binding Fairy do it for me. If I don't just fold over extra backing to the front and make that my binding, the 2.25" strips folded inward twice is my usual method then pin every four inches or so along the quilt to sew both sides at the same time. Not the way I was told to do but what the heck? My quilts are done and ready to keep a body warm and that's all that matters to me at that point :-)

I agree with Linda somewhat........... although, sometimes I do make the binding prior to finishing everything else and then I just go with what I wish.... lots of times it's scrap of the fabrics I am working with........ I do love the scrapy binding!!
