X-Server LFD should be in the game and it will be no matter how many people cry. The reason is it's a great tool. People want to get in, get out, and get a dungeon done in a short amount of time without hassle. That is what the tool is designed for. It matters not if you're on the same server, people will be assholes no matter what.

LFD tool (especially cross server) only ruins the community. Don't forget, people, TERA is mostly based around a political system. You cannot have a political system on the server if you're playing with people from another one! "Hurr, I play with people I never meet again. I have no clue about the events on my server. All I know is this server in my queue group is BAD. But I'm gonna vote like I know my server, it's players, and guilds."

If it's not cross-server, that's tolerable, but still not ideal. With the current group tool in place, you can pick and choose people that you want to group with with the content you want to do. You have more control. Most people don't even know about it. TRY IT; IT'S GOOD. Believe me when I say, you don't want to be stuck in a dungeon group with a shitty group make up, endure it to the final boss, only to be missing a single ability that would make the difference between downing a boss and resetting the instance. And the answer is not to nerf the content.. please don't nerf the content.

I don't mind cross-server and LFD but I don't want the world to feel empty either so a compromise would be no teleport to the dungeon. forcing people to trek their ass over to a dungeon would mean best of both worlds (I think)

I'm a player with time, energy, and social skills to create groups using the archaic LFG channel. However, I think a LFD is absolutely necessary. Making groups easier to form greatly increases the number of people willing to do group quests. Let's say right now, with no LFD, my server has 100 people online at prime time who are interested in running Secret Base. If there were an LFD, that number would jump to 125 or even 150. That's a bigger pool of players for me to form groups from! That means more SB instances are being run, and more players are enjoying the group content.

I do not feel that the absence of an LFD creates meaningful social interaction. I do not have fun copy-pasting the same "LF tank for SM" message into /u for 15 minutes. No one thinks, "oh what an interesting person, I should send them a message just to chat!" I do not start conversations with people who join my groups. They're just here to do a dungeon, then leave and never talk to me again. That's fine. A lot of people seem to think that LFD ruins social interaction, but truth is, it's no different than without it. I'm not going to be any more interested in talking to my group mates just because I'm bored and it took me twice as long to get a group.

I have nothing against being social. I am very active in forums, guild chat, and voice-over chat. However, I don't feel that this IMAGINARY social interaction boost contributes to making dungeons more fun. You know what's more boring than a non-talkative group? Downtime. Sitting in town because your group can't find a tank.

I have no concerns about "loot ninja"ing in this game. As long as the default loot setting is class-specific only, I do not feel we have anything to worry about. Yes, there will always be cases of people being jerks, but that will happen anyways. And if someone steals your gold loot on a non-LFD dungeon, what are you going to do to exact your revenge? Spam LFG channel that "bobby is a loot whore!!!11!!!" ? That's not deterring anyone. Threaten to tell everyone on the server not to group with you? You can't possibly tell everyone. Most people will ignore you anyways. PK him? He can sit in a safe zone and log off. Are you going to camp him 24/7? There is nothing you can do to stop loot ninjas, even in a game without LFD. It will happen. Get over it.

I think that it shouldn't be implemented because it does create an isolated atmosphere in an mmo. Those that support it are more against social structure in games or have no patience (or time possibly) to make a proper group.

Do not put it in the game. It does not belong here. It will mess up open world pvp! Stop asking a pvp game to already start turning into a damn CAREBEAR GAME! People like you are idiots and should stop making these threads and polls.
