I am curious how one gets to be included on the Bucket List? I have written twice before regarding this matter. All one has to do is read TripAdvisor or Yelp! too know we are in the top three of almost every list of best things to do in Santa Cruz. As a thirty year resident, the owner of three business in Santa Cruz, why are we not on the Sentinel's Bucket List? We have served over eight thousand guests, many unique to Santa Cruz. 60% of our guests are Santa Cruzins. And of them most are mature adults... the same demographics as the Sentinel audience.

Uh oh ! How was Open Studios, Begonia Festival, Capitola Art and Wine left off the list?! Santa Cruz is a Mecca for artists since living here is so inspiring!!!

There were too many to just pick ten. What a great place we live. I decided to restrict my choices to one that can be done any time of the year and are not the things visitors usually have already heard about. That eliminated The Boardwalk and Mystery Spot, and also Shakespeare festival and whale watching.

This list is a joke all tourist crap. A real list about Santa cruz would be visiting all the amazing natural places not spending money at chains Like Pizza my heart. Go see the sunrise at Top of the World. Visit the Moonrocks or climb Tree 9.
