I think the pet shop was the better of the 3 by a margin because of the new building tequniches it used and the styles, yes some could say it was sparse but then again lego is really pushing for the builders inspiration they really want us to express are own taste and style they want us to get creative and design are own interiors and I suppose it is also Legos aim for the palace cinema and for all of the modular s I would give the pet shop 10/10 for build 6/10 playability because of the sparseness and well the lack of a vehicle but the build a big 10 10 10 because super fun to build and some great techniques as well but I have also found the palace cinema great as well.

I would give it a 9.9 out of 10 on a good day, simply because of the fact that they didnt make it bigger! On it's worst day it's a 9.7 to me, I would've prefered it if they made it 4 stories instead of the maximum 3!!! While this set is my favorite modular building, second being The Grand Emporium it seems to fall short on being GREAT!!! Instead it's only very good, I mean The Green Grocer's upmost roofline seems to be higher than Town Hall's, whats up with that!? Also should've made the bell tower a bit larger, with the bell being greater than that of The fire Brigade's bell, instead it's a meh bell..... Sigh! I just feel that this set could've been so much more, alas it is what it is. Also I know that cost is a major factor when determining the size, but I would have been willing to pay as much as $275-$300 dollars U.S. for this particullar set, had they made it my way. Heck I would've made it 5 stories so that way it could completly dominate the townscape!!! It would not only dominate in the sense that it does now with simply being the largest and tallest, it would be a marvel a Lego engineering and pride that would remain unsurpassed in the modular building series! Unless they'll surprise us with a lego skyscraper, that would be the biggest lego set of all time! If I were to design a skyscraper for the moduler set, it would be of Gothic style architecture like the Woolworth building in New York City. Now that I would very much love to see!!!!!
