Would you eat horse meat?

Can anyone tell me how to remove the toxic chemicals from horsemeat--you know Bute and Pergolide and Lasik and Susprinex and wormers--which all SPECIFY to not use in horses intended for consumption by humans or carnivores. Why isn't this info known around the world? Is shipping toxic food a war strategy? Are people in those other countries going to have cancer and liver failure and defective infants because USA horsemeat is being shipped to them? Or--is it---go ahead and eat this toxic meat--gobble it up... and we don't care..diplomacy? My old horse was so full of drugs he set off the Geiger counters in the nearby military base. Did I ship him to slaughter? Did you eat him? Do you glow in the dark?

I for one have tried horse meat! I am a horse owner, I raise them, train them, break them and ride them but would never consider eating any one of them. They are all companions to me and I just don't believe horses are made for consumption. They are more like a dog or cat to city people, and if we want to throw equine steak on the menu, what about a nice fido stir fry or a feline stew? I think the idea of even thinking about adding horse to the supermarket selection or the menu of my favorite restaurant would certainly stir the pot and would never get my support.
