I'm not sure that we needed the extra complication of a female beast while Vincent is battling other beasts and trying to get his memory back and Cat is trying to figure out who she is. If the writers were determined to add one, I would have preferred it be one of the female soldiers from Vincent's unit who were involved in the Muirfield experiment instead of a brand new character. Remember Lafferty? We never found out what happened to her.
