Are utilities going too far in tree-trimming?
Yes. They are mowing down trees without much care. Some places look like Godzilla went through them with a scythe.
No. Hundreds of thousands of people lost power for days in 2011. Limbs blown onto power lines were a big reason. If we want heat and light, trees have to be cut rigorously.
Maybe. But having a state law regulating tree-trimming is also going too far.
