The utility companies across the board are consistantly increasing consumers bill with idiotic charges, like, delivery, so called regulatory costs amongst a few. No matter where the utility companies get their supply from, that is their own doing and therefore consumers shouldn't be charged any kind of excessf fees. Add to the already high taxes of New York State as a whole we also should be able to get annual refunds or a sizeable amount returned to those who's Income ranges between $0.00 up to $200, 000.00 per year! Should tthere be an advocate for utiliy companies? You sure bet there should be someone or a group of people who will serve and addvocate for any legally registered State of New York resident! We need to ban together and put an end to all the overages (charges) once and for all!

Need better regulation, not of suppliers but of the charges by the "delivery" gougers. We have a choice of suppliers but not of deliverers. Deliverer bill needs three more pages to explain them. Seems they keep coming up with spurious small 'fees' which add up to lots, all probably going to NYSEG (Iberdola) bottom line. Also need regulation of Public Service (?) Commission.

Yes, if the advocate is in on all negotiations for rate increases, etc., at the very beginning and not after the fact, when things are already in place and we have to dig out from them.

Utility advocate is needed in NY - someone to address the views of customers

Definately needed in NY. We have a proven bad record of abuse in NY. This is a great step in the right direction.

I think the FTC should be involved since utilities sometimes originate from out of state, and for some muscle.
