The more I think about it the more I like the badge. As David Gold says elsewhere it is one of the best badges around therefore for me just subtle changes. I get the need to include London so go with that but I'd also make the hammers bolder whilst making the castle a lighter shade. That would work well. I'd also lose the unhappy face ( beneath the castle. I know a company that spent millions changing their centurion head logo from facing backwards to facing forwards!! We need a smiling face :) not a :(

Some people seem to think that saying no to change is being loyal to the club. It's not. The present badge is not very old. Surely we want the club to be modern, vibrant, successful and taking advantage of any commercial ploy to increase income, whilst having due regard to the history of the club

Don't like the idea of the London tag line, it's tacky. But don't mind dropping the castle. A simpler more stylishly crafted hammers focused badge would work well, needs bringing up to date.

There is a trend to object to everything the owners want to do by some supporters. Why should they take those supporters seriously? Besides this poll is shaping up for 50/50 it is worth looking at this so if they continue to explore this they will please as many as they piss off. And it makes perfect sense to NOT change the name but include London on the badge. They want to fill the OS guys and if this helps then why not?

The three stooges(Larry-Mo-and Curly) will completely ignore any opposition to what ever the supporters of OUR club say or do,they are on to a big pay day and that is all that they are interested in.It would not surprise me if the sale of WHU has already been decided we will just have to wait and see who the new owners will be-OIL-GASorSAND!!!!!.And in case anyone asks my first visit to see MY team was in 1947.

It depends on the changes they're looking to make. I like the idea of modernising the badge, but I don't like the idea of the castle being removed. That's a big part of our badge for me.

There's nothing wrong with the board looking to revamp the badge. Things always need modernising and freshening up. I love our badge and don't think it needs changing that much. Just a little modernisation is that's required and certainly do not remove the castle.

I heard a wispher they are considering removing the Castles from the Badge - Just another thing to make us West Ham United fans hate the Board more than we already do after the Dudley Dinosaur kept his job... All they want is to the Board is have there own Piece of History to what they can claim as their Stamp on our History.... It's not broke, don't try to fix it... If they need to add something to the shirt, do it on the opposite side to the Badge - maybe a small symbol stating a new era Ie: Olmypic Rings and the date we moved into the new Stadium - but keep it away from the Original Badge..........Hammerdale22
