The play calling has been totally inept. Against Temple, with the advantage we had in the O line we could have run the ball all night. Instead we were treated to 3 quarterbacks making bad throws and 7 turnovers.
Against Ole MIss after gaining 27 yards on the first 3 running plays, immediately going to a down field pass. In fact when the defense needed a rest we started on our 16 with three and out downfield passes. Our tight end was not utilized even though he clearly could beat the linebacker covering him on about every down.
Take not only what the defense gives you but what your offense can execute! Maybe Mason needs a better offensive mind, his or someone elses.

This coaching staff with the headmaster Mason has lost what momentum the team had last year. He has turned a fan base from excited to embarrassed..
What was David Williams thinking - maybe he needs to go as well.

This coaching staff doesn't have a clue. With the exception of the secondary, which is young, I grant you, this team has a lot of experienced players. Looks to me like Mason came in and changed too many things. Keep in mind this team finished in the top 25 at the end of last season. I wasn't expecting another 9 win season, but certainly 6 wins was within reason. Unless they get a grip real fast, Vandy won't win 2 games this season. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Yes he is the right coach for the JOB! I would like to the ones who voted "No He's Overmatched" or want him fired! Take this same 2014 Vandy team & try to do a better JOB!
