Who should be our boys athlete of the week?

Doug Welker (Zanesville soccer) leads the Blue Devils in scoring and had a goal and an assist in a 2-1 win over Tri-Valley Saturday.

Chase Himmelspach (Maysville football) had a pair of TD runs in the second half and totaled nearly 90 yards in the ground as Maysville topped Sheridan in 3OT.

Connor Wright (Maysville CC) has top-10 finishes at the Newcomerstown and Fairfield Union Invites and placed in the top 30 at Lancaster and Pickerington North.

Dylan Van Fossen (John Glenn golf) shot a 3-under 69 to earn co-medalist honors in the Division II district meet and lead the Muskies to their 1st state berth.

Harrison Hayes (Zanesville golf) shot 75 in the Division I sectional to earn a berth to the Division I district golf tournament.
