Governor Cuomo in one of the most gutless political moves of out time vetoed this bill the Friday following the election at 5PM. If he felt justified in vetoing this bill he should have had the courage of his convictions and done so before the election. The key word here is "courage" which he lacks and our service men and women past and present display everyday in their service to this country and to this State. New Yorker's, please have the courage and the fortitude to demand that our legislators override this gutless veto. Go to this site and sign the petition, show your support for our men and women in the service.

The Veteran's Equality Act is VERY important! The Governor saw fit to speak over the voices of Veteran's, their families and an almost unanimous vote in the affirmative by the Assembly (only one opposed). Please see my petition for an override of Governor Cuomo's veto of this bill so it can finally become law. Thank you!
