If you were reading official EU documents, in which language would you choose to access them?

It is totally unbelievable that that percentage of the population would access documents in Irish. What is most likely the case is that those who would like to see Irish used as the main language have hijacked your poll. The only time I have heard Irish used as an everyday language was in west Galway and Arranmore Island and even then it didn't take much for them to lapse into English.
I'm from Wexford, and all that Irish means to me is constant beatings at school. The alphabet was changed during my school years and so did the whole character of the language.
Irish Revival Culture is one of the biggest quangos in the country and surely costs a fortune in maintenance.
In the fifty years since I was in national school, it has made no further inroads into daily usage. Leave it to the scholars and the diehards and spend the money on something worthwhile like sick children. WK.
