My husband and I have been season ticket holders sincer the second year Topeka brought hockey to town. We feel that it is by far the best entertainment our city has to offer. Additionally, having a team here promotes youth hockey and provides an excellent opportunity for our children. The city, the county, and the Expo center need to work with the team to promote hockey in our community and surrounding area and keep the team here. The Expo Center should welcome this team and work with them, building a lasting and strong relationship, rather than creating road blocks every year. Having a permanent tenant that offers a long-term committmetment is good for our community, and The Topeka Roadrunners are a positive influence to our citizens.

I agree. If we had better promoting more people would come. The runners have built a family of fans and to make them leave would be idiotic. The expo will not be able to replace "all the slots" the boys take up. They just wont. SO shut the hell up, sign a long lease, do the renovations and promote them more so that people know about them.

Get someone better to promote it. Lived in the area for 10 years. Just found out they where here last year from a friend. Haven't missed a game since and will be there cheering tonight.
