I sincerely hope not! With all the whining about implementation (we are how many years behind Europe? 20 or so??) no one is talking about the cost of being ready and not going ahead with it. All the larger systems are ready and the other will sift out and get there if the deadline stays (and if they are inclined to get paid...) Why is it they push stuff we don't even have the infrastructure or standards for (interoperatility and public health interfaces - no two states have same requirements) and hold up on ICD-10? Shows how out of touch they are with the industry...
