Erkle, Emma, Pat, and Edna right on. But my question is..... Why should it take so long for our law makers to fix the problem when clearly that's what the people want?

All of the above-and if they are not paying their income taxes, put them out of the position they hold as well. Too many people in this country just scraping by on a lowly minimum wage, I have no tolerance for these crooks who take a position of trust and want to live large by stealing from the public. What a joke it is that they should still be entitled to their pension.

It's a disgrace when any US, State, City, or County employee cheats and steals in their position. They ALL should lose their pensions in addition to losing their positions and serving jail time. Also, if this law is passed, ALL previous offenders' pensions should cease, as well.........no ifs, ands, or buts!!!!

In a country where veterans are denied deserved and proper medical care, where hardworking people have to beg for an $8/hour salary, where victims of natural disasters have to wait eons for assistance--the fact this question even has to be asked is beyond travesty.

Neither should cops, judges, teachers, anyone that gets convicted and loses their job and who is paid by the tax payers should lose their pensions.
