Many games have become stale and boring. Hurling is a little better, but not much. The only real excitement in hurling is when Kilkenny Play
Tipp. In Football there are a few more like dub v Kingdom. I used to be an avid Gaa fan going to all the matches back in the 80s 90s. The were fantastic games then. Its more about money now. To me the back door system messed up this beautiful amateur game. It's just as professional now as soccer except the players don't get paid. I don't even watch many games now and I don't go to any because it's the same old teams end up in the final. Boring Boring Boring. And for the RTE PANEL. painful analysis. Same old crap every Sunday.

Amalgamate Connaught and Ulster into one group

Leinster and Munster into another group

As Teams are eliminated they return to their own provincial championship.

The farther a team goes in the All Ireland series the higher it becomes seeded in its provincial championship.

1 all- Ireland and 4 provincial championships to fight for.

    1. Change league to hurling structure with only finals (3 less games for winner)
    2. Run provincials off over 6-7 weeks
    3. Provincial finalists and eight best from league into top 16
    4. Play a top 16 and bottom 16 World Cup style groups
    5. Top 16 Group winners and 3 best R up go to q finals
    6. Bottom 16 group winners play semi and final and winner enters all ireland q final.
