I mean why not?Why isn't marijuana safe to legalize? There has been no deaths to the drug, there is no overdose, and it is safer than alcohol and tobacco. Why would they want to make something that grows out of the ground illegal? I think it should be recreational for adults 18+. Imagine how much money the government could make off of taxing the dinspensaries. The government has to focus on stuff that really matters like methamphetamines, murderers, rapists, and other stuff besides putting the youth in prison for a joint or a plant.
Marijuana is used for medicinal purposes. Its an herb that heals unlike tobacco and alcohol the very drugs that kill. Every day research about marijuana proves that it heals whether it be a child who has extreme seizures, to patients with chrohns disease, patients who suffer hypertension, and so on. There are so many good research being done and collected, but not once is there any medical proof stating that marijuana is as bad as alcohol or tobacco. Every year peoples lives are lost due to alcohol related accidents as well as tobacco related incidents. Marijuana was never a threat to anyone except for those corporate companies looking to make profit from their products and which they did not support the hemp industry which is what should have strived. Because marijuana was a threat to such corporate leaders such it was banned without the chance of continued research. All that has changed now and people are starting to realize that marijuana is not a threat but in fact a way of healing. Don't be blinded by ads that lie instead seek the truth.
Marijuana, like prostitution, has been around for hundreds of years. You're never going to stop people from using it or doing it. I know people who have used marijuana for decades and they are just fine. We follow the law because it is written law. Laws are not always right. You know that and i know that. Legalize the damn thing and let's stop saying that marijuana is bad for you. Show me and maybe i'll believe it.
I support it for medical use only but like any other should be controlled which I know it would be difficult to do because no matter what someone will always find a loop hole and that someone will be above the law..It's a jungle out there .....

No way they should legalize it for Guam. The Island and its population is way to small to deal with all of the enforcement issues plus tax revenue would never be enough to off set added police / court legal issues.
Marijuana (called MaryJane) is a wonder plant that a lot of people can use for relaxation, many for medical reasons and other benefits. I believed that this drug should be legalize with no restriction and let the people free from being arrested. Smoking pot is no different from drinking beer or hard liquor. If you abused it,
you know what will happen.
if those sick peolpe that been suffering from thier illness can be cured with these plants why not.... lets legalize it!!
yes legalize, why not? its a plant, people have choice and free will to use or not if they can handle it. it can be banned or reduced, law is law
Yes it should be legalize. The government could tax the sell of marijuana bringing millions of revenue to the island, not only that. Tourism will increase even more creating more jobs for the island as well.
You allow the FDA and the American Medical Association approve drugs that cover up your illness but also give you new medical conditions (read the warning label people!) but have found NOTHING harmful in POT to you by consuming it.....Gateway drug? Seeing any Doctor is the new Gateway to drugs and the Pharmaceutical Companies are the new DRUG LORDS. People are so easily BRAINWASHED. How many peoples lives have been destroyed because of the rich and powerful couldn't control it. After 50+ years of PROHIBITION and now we accept it for what it is...a medicine. IGNORANCE truly is BLISS.....but so is being totally STUPID.
Get the FACTS from Professional Scientist not Law Enforcement, Congress or your local Health Professional. Do you go to a Veterinarian for treatment? So why do you let them determine if medicine is good for you or not. There are a LOT MORE drugs they GIVE people that is far more harmful than what POT will do to you, and most of the things it helps with have NO SIDE EFFECTS. Show me another drug that can do that!
