We pay one of the highest sales tax in the country & with these funds, Tennessee elected officals receive health care insurance. Insure Tennessee has to be passed so the working poor paying for other peoples insurance have their own insurance. If it were not for my husbands employee insurance I would have none myself. I'm 53 & have had a job ( two jobs while in college) since the age of 15. Back in the 1980's employees reatained after a 90 day trial period were provided insurance, paid vacation & often we earned sick leave pay. I received 80% of my pay for three months with the birth of each of my children. Employers seldom provide these benefits any more. Respect for workes no longer exists. So if this state is the Christian state everyone thinks "we" are, then the "lesser of these" bottom end line workers struggling to survive should have available healthcare. For the sake of humanity & to actually practice what Jesus would do. He fed the hungry & cured the sick. HE did not let those who were also sinners cast those stone. If you gonna preach it put some action behind it. Pass Insure Tennesse. ACA could have gone a lot further but since it's all we have for now...pass the bill. Amen, praise the lord & pass the snakes.

Everyone in the state wants Insure TN to pass except for the worst among us, except for mean-spirited, selfish and immoral human beings. People are falling sick and dying because of the immoral behavior of Tennessee's Republican legislators. It is downright evil to deny people access to healthcare. Tennessee legislators are the worst among us. They are evil and immoral and should be shunned and booed wherever they go.

Our legislature's refusal to opt into the ACA or Insure TN is illogical and ignorant. TN is missing out on millions of $, and thousands of Tennesseans have no health insurance. We could have healthier people and an increase in our economy except for our state reps. We need to elect new legislators in 2016!

Each day that we delay the implementation of #InsureTN, two more of our neighbors die. Each year that we delay the implementation of #InsureTN, our state refuses the infusion of $1.2 billion into our economy. 280,000 Tennessee taxpayers are being denied access to affordable health care by members of our legislature who gladly accept taxpayer money to provide healthcare coverage for themselves and their families. If our legislators don't listen to Tennesseans and begin to honor their oaths of office, then we need to make sure we get new legislators in 2016!

Pass insure TN as soon as it is state funded by TN taxes. No more federal borrowing to pay for it, least we become another Greece or Porto Rico.

The legislature needs to pass Insure Tennessee because it's the right thing for our citizens, no matter what the Supreme Court rules!
