Winston? No one cares about the little liar. Bortles has way much to prove. Tannehill, he'll easily make the playoffs. Definitely bortles

Ryan Tannehill clearly ,big contract, more talented team and its his forth year. he has improved every year ,if Miami does not make playoffs his career will most likely flounder into oblivion.

The real pressure is on Bortles. If we really want to talk about pressure Bortles has the most. Winston is a rookie and with such an abyssmal record for the Bucs and the mediocrity of previous quarterbacks Winston has some leeway this season. Tannehill might have a lot to prove but he already got a payday that must take some of the pressure off of him in a way because, worse case scenario he still gets to walk with a fortune. But Bortles hasn't gotten a pay day and it is his second season (and his first wasn't great) so it is do or die for Bortles in the NFL. Bortles has the most to lose this upcoming season.

This is the year that Tannehill needs to step up and lead the Dolphins to the playoffs. No more excuses. He got the big contract, management got him the surrounding talent, now it's up to him.

Don't care about the Bucs anymore. As a lifelong fan since the very first year in existence, I will no longer follow a team that elevates such a classless, vile, and pathetic excuse for a human being to such an important role within the team. Winston represents the very worst of the pampered, elite athlete that is allowed to get away with anything they want. It's disgusting. Goodbye Bucs. Character matters. I hope you get what you deserve for hiring such a scumbag. I won't be watching anymore. Go Jags!

It has to be Tannehill by process of elimination. The Bucs are pathetic so if Winston goes 3-13 or 4-12, that would show decent improvement for them. I think coach is gone either way. As for Bortles, the Jags know they are clearly behind in their division with Indy being a super bowl favorite by many, and JJ Watt voted at the #1 player in the league. I say if Jax go 5-11, Bortles will be deemed successful. As for Tannehill, the big contract, the hype in Miami, the talks of New England being done....I say he has to go at least 10-6 and make the playoffs, possibly even take the division (even Harvard takes the fins).

Ryan has been around much longer. He doesn't get anymore hall passes for learning curves of any kind. On top of that he got the big pay day to make it happen. Winston and Bortels both will be given a little more time before they feel the heat.

Jameis has the most pressure because not only does he have lofty expectations as the number 1 pick in the NFL draft. He has the perception that he is a bad person. He's been vilified in the media and has to stay the course that he's maintained this past year. People like the idiot commenters on this thread calling him names without ever being charged a crime is something he will have to deal with for the rest of his life.
N Cumby - HEY Moron, FSU suspends people who are actually charged with crimes. Check the news, idiot! Jameis was not arrested and was never charged after 5 different types of inquiries to the allegations. If he had been arrested and the state attorney did charge him he would have been suspended and your hopes and prayers would have been answered. However, this is not the case. So STFU.

Even though Jameis is probably the most talented of the 3, he's under the most pressure because of his off the field reputation. @NCumby...please let it go...it's tiresome....unless, of course, you know both Jameis and Coach Fisher personally, know their motivations and/or were present during the situations you described.

Should I have said fanny instead of a double scribble? Sorry

If a qb flounders in jacksonville and no one notices is he a bust? Bortles is wearing a cloak of invisibilty called "playing in jacksonville" Jameis has more pressure than bortles but hes a rookie with more baggage than the exotic dancer I brought to my family thanksgiving. So if he struggles its semi expected. The clear answer is my boy tannehill. Playing for a yellow bellied lame duck head coach, the first true heir to dan the man, and a fat contract. The pressure has never been higher on tannehill to succeed in a big way than this year. Second year in a new offense, new receivers (that can run and CATCH) and the only way this season is not a phenomenal bust is to reach the playoffs .Godspeed Tannehill.... also piss on the nfl and its stupid "secondary market" weve been watching the dolphins in this state since my dad was six. Now he has to buy direct tv or stuck watching the d-baguars. Have the sentinel run a poll on favorite state nfl teams. The jags and both their fans will come in dead last, probably even behind the predators.

It certainly isn't Winston, he will more than likely be incarcerated for something or other before the season is half over. And it can't be Bortles, anyone with as much sense as I can fan up a nat's ass with a butter paddle will understand he needs more to work with ( such as an offensive line and some position players). So by the process of elimination it must be Ryan "big bucks" Tannehill.

  • N Cumby - 9 years ago

He is disgusting! Not a good role model! His character is a ZERO!! A liar. A shoplifter! A rapeist! FSU kept him to win the national championship. Shame! Shame! Shame! Anything to win!

Winston comes in with the most baggage; he's got the most to prove.
