How wild should spring break be?

On the maturity/stability I think with Alexander's job and lack of parents or other role models make it hard for him to find stability in his life. He's going through a lot of changes currently and his chaotic love life isn't helping. He needs someone to show him how but he hasn't found that person yet but he's only 19 and has time. Plus of course when he's settled that'll be the end of the story and I'm not quite ready to let go yet.

Samantha we did talk about Jay and Alexander months ago getting back together and I did say they would, there was always something unfinished, they'd never quite had their shot. Each time they try, or come close to trying they do get to understand each other better even if they end up hurt. However many people say Jay should be kicked out of Alexander's life for good I just can't do it for long, they always have to make up.

The popularity of Alexander and Peter - even after how it went down at the end of the year is baffling to me. I'm not sure where their story will or can go.

Thanks for the comments, everything helps.

I have always been TeamAlexanderandJay and I don't think there is anything you can have Jay do to Alexander that will have me stop thinking they are meant to be! You, as the writer, have control asto how your characters will evolve or stay the same. You have well rounded characters who all have good and bad qualities. Peter likes it rought. He's never going to get what he really needs from Alexander. I don't know why people want those two back together but I skmmed over the parts mentioning them as a couple. Jay hurt Alexander multiple times and vice verse. A great way for them both to heal is to work through their insecurities and relationship issues with each other in order to grow. Whether they will stay together a short period, long-term or break up again, I believe these two getting back together will help each of them in the long run.

I've enjoyed the story so far, but...............it's time for some stability to enter his life. And it is time to begin showing how some of his "friends" are also starting to mature.

Maturing is part of the aging/growing up process. Not all mature at the same time or level so that can add additional story elements as well as new and exciting characters.
