MT is like Walmart, it is not sexy and low cost, but it still holds the largest EHR market share depending on how you slice the numbers.

The trend is declining revenue from product sales (down 41% yoy) and slightly increasing revenue from services. These are not good trends for the future. How is Meditech going to grow revenue? Not likely by increasing product sales. They will look to grow revenue from services. This trend, higher percentage of revenue from services, is likely to continue. That means existing customers will be paying more for service and support. Future development will be limited in this scenario.
Its going to be an uphill battle from Meditech but they seem to continue to beat the odds. Time will tell.

Still one of the cheapest options for small and mid-size facilities but I think more of those places get gobbled up and put on the platform of the larger facilities.
MT is like Wal-Mart...relatively cheap option, works for the most part and no one wants to go there (go on it).

It is helpful to note that a couple of years ago, HCA, possibly the most sophisticated financial player in the market, evaluated moving to Epic and chose to stay on MAGIC, one of MEDITECH's legacy platforms.

I'd believe NO if we saw a tangible glidepath to a singular platform. You cannot compete with 4, soon to be 5 5 platforms. Simple. The perspective is MEDITECH is new to the Ambulatory game, has taken too long with the web release and sacrificed agility for the sake of maintaining legacy platforms.
