Shun'Cee Thomas is a well rounded athelet that has had a love for football his entire life. He is also a faithful teammate with a humble attitude and has patiently awaited his chance to shine. Shun'Cee's stats and his personality both display his work ethic and his drive to become a better person and athlete.

Robert McKnight is a good athlete. He is an uplifting young man. When he sees someone down, he will ask them are they ok. He is very respectful.

  • Karen saucedo - 9 years ago

Robert McKnight is an all around athlete that participates in several sports. He is a displined hard worker who willing goes the extra mile for his teammates and coaches. He is dynamic on the field and off the field he is a quiet, respectful , humble young man and is very deserving of this award.

Thank you Mr. Graham. This is fun. The Times' picks its own best players (not by popularity) at the end of the season. This is for the fans and players to have fun with, but at the same time still honor terrific performances.

  • John Graham - 9 years ago

The players that are nominated are all worthy but the voting is a popularity contest. Hope the players don't get caught up in it. There will be many more great performances by several players during the year. Thanks to the Times for doing this as well as the fantasy football.

I think everybody was clutch that's why they're running for Player of the Week

  • unknown - 9 years ago

So the Shreveport times got everybody stats right but McKnight right? Lol good job boys

  • Mike - 9 years ago

McKnight actually had 14 carries for 205 yards with 2 TD plus the 95 yard return with a TD and 22 receiving yards. He battled through a leg injury suffered early in the game. He was truly clutch.

great player. Pound for pound, inch for inch, probably the best all around player in the area. He is humble, smart and respected by both the players and coaches.
