GMH need support from the government. How sad that even government officials (mayors) air out their support to the new hospital instead of it's own family the Government Hospital, did they forget that its the people of Guam that put them on where they at. Help your people, help the government. Help your hospital. Our hospital the people of Guam.

Please Mr. Governor, I am one of your indigent people help us to have a place in case of emergencies. Rich abundant people won't care, coz money is not their problem. And I hope GMH will have more funds to afford doctors and new technology equipments, so people don't need to go abroad to just be cured one is St. Luke in Manila. Well nice to go home but not because there's no hospital here that I could go.

Privatization or not. GMH issues are from a management culture that needs a major mind shift. The professionals at GMH do a whole lot with less on a daily basis. Much of which are never known only to a select few. I think the hospital's issues have been ongoing for decades and despite administrative changes, the operating culture and politics has remained the same. We need a few new faces and fresh ideas independent of special interests with more transparency. There is no reason GMH can't be a successful public facility.

Privatization is not the answer, Government Of Guam should support the GMH instead of supporting the Private Hospital, we need GMH for the less fortunate, Mayors of Guam instead of calling Government employees to go to the private hospital support your family the government hospital GMH.
GMH need support from the government. You have brilliant professional workers at GMH support them as they take care of the patients.

once any government agency goes private the rates are out of our hands and prices can soar, our people with less fortune need accessible and affordable health care that is provided privatization is not the answer, remform of administration of staff of policy is needed to improve and the federal government needs to up hold their end by compensating these agency's in a timely manner.

It is the governments responsibility to have a hospital we will not always have the funding necessary however that does not preclude excellent care. Gmh needs a major mind shift. Stop funding a hospital that continues to fall short. A hospital should not be a drag on its community it should be a major moneymaker poor management . It's all about the patients as it always should be. Resources should be directed towards the most critical. Collect from the federal govt any and all past dues. Send all compact immigrants to naval hospital they have unlimited resources.

We need government hospital, where will these less fortunate go. Knowing Private hospital always ask for percentage before taking you in. They just need to manage the public hospital well and need the full support from the government.
