    Of Cause YES !!
Guam' is Terrible about Animal support !!
Always I saw dead animal on the road but everybody don't care about it.
It means Guam government don't do anything!!!!!!!
In Japan citizens call to city hall and Always city hall stuff take dead animals. Or rescue.
Also Guam citizens don't take care there own dog!!!
    This is terrible Neglect!!!
No water and food ,no walk the dog .
We have to tell them How to take care dog and cat!!!
    They are Ignorance!!

I usually go to the Gain for volunteers!
Everyday stray dogs and cats come to the gain .
But not a lot of space so stuff have to make space. It means they have to kill dog and cat .
    That is very sad situation.
Gain need more stuff and animal new room for them!!
    Please change more strict law.

guam sickens me with how they treat animals. Absolutely disgusted with this island who has zero feelings to help animals and how most locals tie up their dogs on short chains, fighting chickens, not caring about cats and getting the animals spayed or neutered to prevent more suffering. It's barbaric how a lot of people here treat animals. But this is Guam, not even the good for nothing cops do anything useful here.

Turning a blind eye is a very unhealthy habit. Maybe authorities will care more about animals if its population shows interest? By the way, this is not India and comparison to undeveloped countries is not desirable. We should be looking up not down!

@william Henderson , have you been to India ? I have , never mind the animals look at how they treat their citizens in India even the cows look like they are starving , they are eating cardboard out of the trash pile I have photos of it . Gandhi he's a comedian a funny man for sure.

Animal police force should be created , a small team of 20 officers is all that is required for this island . GAIN doesn't go out and collect stray animals nor do they enforce animal cruelty laws . They do the bare minimum with whatever resource they have to care for and adopt out stray dogs and cats . We need a enforcement officer to start writing citations out to those who neglect these animals and to prosecute all those who purposely harm animals or even cause their death. Something has to be done . These Lawmakers don't care about animal issues , it doesn't bring money into their pockets or fund their campaign so they stay away from it . Our Mayors have received money to help control the stray dog situation in their village but they have yet to produce any results , in fact the money they received was more than likely used for other interest instead , they cannot even account for the money they have spent ,no receipts no paperwork just money spent and gone . Perhaps Guam must go to the extreme and ask our resident Chinese , Filipino , Vietnamese , Thai and Korean citizens to start eating the stray dogs as they do in their country , "some raise dogs for consumption" like the Chinese dog eating festival where thousands of dogs are slaughtered to be used in their traditional festive dish , filipino's prepare dogs for celebrations , I have actually attended a Filipino party that served dog and I must say it didn't taste bad at all. We should legalize the consumption of dogs for one day each year for each ethnic community so they can preserve their culture and customs to include dishes most westerners would frown upon. That would help the stray dog population here I would think , hey the Chinese would even eat the stray cats , that's another plus for our island . If we can't enforce the animal cruelty laws then another option should be looked at . That's all I'm sayin don't freak out and hate on me , it's just a suggestion .
