It is my opinion that Walgreens also benefits from additional customer traffic and sales by having theranos located in stores. If theranos does not survive perhaps another provider will take it's place.

Just returned from Walgreens for blood draw and urine collection for battery of tests prior to Doctors appointment. Like that I will be able to see results prior to Doctor visit, compare to prior tests and be prepared to ask questions.
Using theranos has nothing to do with a pin prick blood sample and everything to do with convenience and pricing. As long as my care providers are OK with theranos our family will continue to utilize the service.
