Alexander Gordon Smith is a fantastic author and gave loads of great advice at a workshop he ran in Norwich last year. If you get the chance to hear him speak, grab it! Read his books too as he certainly knows how to create a page turner. If all else fails, look at the wonderful book cover!
'Beetle Boy' Because of the colours, the cheeky beetles and the beautiful page edges.
It has to be Mr Sparks - retro-cool and nightmare inducing!
Smashing work by Will Steele on Rebel of the Sands, gets my vote, well done Will :)
Sorry but I'm just a big kid.
It appears everyone else likes horror but I like mystery and magic. That's why Rebel of the Sands grabbed me.
