Don't know what upgrades Corvo complains about, she just says it without any mention or suggestions for improvement. However, remember when Woody Close argued vehemently against it, stating "They won't last 3 seasons." Then voted against it. I believe he owned several businesses at the time that the games would compete against.

We love the Renegades, and have been going since 1994. The Dutch needs SERIOUS upgrades. We've gone to the park in Ramapo, and while it's not real baseball the ballpark is much more comfortable. Our family has also gone to the park in Brooklyn, Aberdeen while our son has played tournaments in their park, and several others. It's night and day compared to what we have here.
Everyone talks about taxpayer dollars this, taxpayer dollars that. When the Renegades leave and take all of the outside taxes that come INTO the area and leave us all without our hometown team, well...it will stink. I don't want fake independent baseball here.

They should stay if they completely pay for themselves and bring in revenue. However, like any business, they should be able to stand on their own without taxpayers propping them up with subsidies.

Going to a Rengades game shouts summer! Our family goes every summer.
