I think they should be sent to Guantanamo Bay

"Bomb threats are real" think of the reality and the post events, the lost of love ones, the condolences and more so, the emptiness in our heart(s) the rest of our lives withstanding the shame the responsible person brought upon the family. So, we would have to rely on the Judge to Act to the extend of the Law and the Law Makers to review the law making sure it's current with no linency. I CAN NOT PHANTOM THE THOUGHT OF LOSING MY CHILD AS A RESULT.

Terroristic acts should not be taken lightly whatsoever whether it be a minor or adult committing the crime. Federal prison should be the solution no questions asked. We can't be taking these threats lightly, if we do it'll only show these kids or future violators that it's just a slap on the wrist. Let's not be ignorant. A terroristic threat is a serious problem and it needs a serious solution.

These kids and in effect parents should have to pay back every dollar it cost... Either in money or time doing community service.... Lots of community service! There is always litter to pick up, bush cutting needed or bus stops that need painting.

OK. I agree with TAOH. Have levels of discipline. At this point, students should get the entire picture.

Now, ROSEMARIE and NO ON BOMB THREATS, totally understand your take that JAIL TIME would not be effective. Let's say it was NOT A THREAT and it actually HAPPENED. What would your disposition be then?

Bottom Line: All individuals SHALL be held accountable for their actions.

Put them in a cell for a night or two, and then give them a good amount of hours for community service, like picking up trash or cigarette butts, something hardworking so they know that it's not a joke. Or extend there school and shorten the summer, so they understand that bomb threats won't get the out of school but only make them have more make up days for it. It's a serious thing, and parents should be held accountable in some way.

This is a terrorist act. First Offense: Suspend the student for a week; do 1,000 hours of Community Service; and make the parents pay for the cost of First Responders (Fire, Bomb Squad, lost school hours, etc.....) If parents can't pay, make them do 2,500 hours of Community Service. This way, parents make sure their kids don't engage in stupid behavior like this.
2nd Offense: Expel the student from school, put him in jail for a 6 months, do 5,000 hours of Community Service after getting out of jail. For parents, as in 1st Offense but with 5,000 hours of Community Service.
If student is 18 or older, put him in jail for first offense and prosecute as a terrorist.

They wont learn anything sitting in our prison system. Sanitation duty seems fit. Let them do 9 to 5 picking up litter island wide everyday for a year along with that jail time. Hopefully then theyll learn something and our island will be cleaner :)

PUT THEM IN JAIL/AGE DOES NOT MATTER,20 YEARS AND NO GOOD TIME/NO SCHOOL. SUPER HARD CORE ALL 20 YEARS MUST BE SERVE.
