I was was arrested in 2013 for drug possession. Stupid 19 year old, but now I am drug free and looking for a job.
However, that is not the hardest thing for me to accomplish. I am required to go for check-in with the Hagatna probation office 3x week. This is very difficult because I don't own a vehicle and my mother works full time and my sister goes to college full time during the hours which probation office is open.. When I requested to be permitted to check-in at the Dededo court section because it is only 2 miles away, the offices reqponsed that I can walk to Hagatna in 3 hours.
When I tried to get myself into the suggested drug groups which when I complete, my probation can be reduced by a judge, they inform me that I am not the offender that the group is intended for-deals and distributors.
I just want to be able to start my life over, get the help-counseling that I am required to do, so that when I go in for a job interview, I can say and prove that drugs were my past.
