    It's a disservice to women to have HIMSS pedaling it's clickbait drivel specifically at them.

    I'm ambivalent about this. While I like the idea of a venue for women, if HIMSS created a newsletter and website geared specifically toward men, many would cry foul. We are still greatly outnumbered at the leadership table in many organizations, but that is slowly changing.
    Male or female, we all face the same concerns and issues in the field, so it will be interesting to see what content is promoted in this space. I'm speaking from a senior management level - and of course HIMSS information covers all areas from entry level on.
    I'm sure I'll take a look at the content from time to time - but I'm not sure that having something specifically geared toward women will be where I spend my time.

    HIMSS has been a vendor driven operation for the last ten years and this will change absolutely nothing.
    Well maybe a few of those vendor booth babes will feel a little better knowing there is a separate venue for them.
