Its yet again another nightmare for front line physicians. Ungodly nightmare. More attestation, numerators, denominators, complex calculations, reporting, 960 pages of nonsensical regulatory action thrust upon the already overburdened, burned out, devastated practicing physicians. Its the definition of insanity, trying the same thing over and over and hoping to get a different result. This is the exact same stuff only renamed, and using deceptive language of "flexible, simplified". Shame on CMS, Shame on ONC. Shame on the AMA. Shame on all the non-front line providers that are getting killed by these programs. Beating us 11 times a day with a bat, does not make it better. Adding a stupid Clinical Practice Improvement Attestation with points and high medium activity, etc, WHY? Who says this improves care, reduces cost? Prove it. MU did NOTHING to improve cost, efficiency, safety or security or interop. NOTHING. Its just piling on more of the same. Truly devastating to front line providers.
