@ Maria Leon. He chooses where to go and is very biased. If he's really available to the people he should be so to those who are HURT and SUFFERING from his deceitful actions. The Archbishop is no where to be found. He continues to hide from the people who seek answers. And what's worse is that he bars them from even meeting with him. He is no leader. He has no sign of humility. His actions have been terrible towards the people and his own priests. He persecutes them! And he has the nerve to desecrate the Holy Eucharist! Archbishop for the good of the church, it's people, please step down. You've caused enough pain, enough hurt to the people who looked up to you, such as I. You can no longer deceive. Bishop Apuron, needs to stop hiding and clear is name, the truth will set you free. I am a Catholic, l was and alter boy in the past and l still believe in god. I have confidence in Bishop Apuron. All these accusations from his detractors are nothing but lies.
I am confused of what is going on with the Bishop and I don't understand what a "Neo Way" is !

What I'd like to see is for Bishop Apuron to get on the media or better yet meet in public and answer questions.

What's more disturbing is there is no separation of Church and State. The Catholic Church has an extremely strong influence over our Senators and the Administration to do whatever Apuron and previous Archbishops want. Just take a look at the MCM deal, that's GMH for those young enough not to know or remember. We, Guam taxpayers, are left to buyout a financially-troubled hospital that has become an enormous money pit. Lawmakers and the Administration then should have distantanced themselves. Now, the ties are as strong as ever, perhaps even at the third part of our Government--Judicial.

This whole thing is getting drawn out longer than it should be so here are some suggestions

1. There is Klitzkie versus DLM, Rev and Tax, etc over certificates - can't we just get to a judge and have a ruling made so we can settle this once and for all (who owns RMS) with absolute finality. No more back room deals, no more lawyer-lawyer arrangements..just a simple ruling from a competent judge.
2. If there are documents from Rome that clearly authorize the use of the NCW "rites", produce them. I am pretty sure that producing those will silence some, if not most of the critics of the NCW. I think alot of people are getting frustrated with this whole "the popes have given their permission, blah blah blah but conveniently for us we can't find it" thing. If I had the head of the Catholic Church writing a clear cut authorization, I would produce it - would save me a lot of heart burn.
3. Guam is overwhelmingly Roman Catholic - sure we have a priest shortage but a lot of good priests were transferred here from the Philippines to help out. We also have a group of good young men who are entering the priesthood (Capuchins). My point being - did we really need to be RE-EVANGELIZED? I am sorry to say that I WAS a strong, practicing Catholic who lost his way after we started seeing dancing in circles and taking the body of Christ while sitting down. "Why fix something that was not broken?" Allow candidates for the priest hood to choose what suits them best and let the Archdiocese support them.
4. I have nothing against the NCW, if y'all want to practice how you want to practice - build your own churches, have your members donate to you their lands, build your own schools, etc.
5. If Benavente and Gofigan are really guilty of breaking Church law - bring a case against them and let justice run its course. If not, apologize, reappoint them back, and move on.
If there is any lynching against Archbishop, it because of him and his sexual abuse of children under his watch, when he & father Jack were just priest . I want it to be known that he is the destroyer of himself! NO ONE else. Archbishop Anthony Apuron DOES NOT deserve such a title of Archbishop.

He has abandoned his Catholic flock in favor of NCW (neos). It is about time he retires and have him replaced by a non-neo bishop.
At the judgment of Jesus, according to the Gospel of John, Pontius Pilate asked “What is truth?” but then he proceeded to take an opinion poll of the crowds. Perhaps, today, it would better serve the interests of the truth if the PDN could look at the facts in the life of the Archbishop, and report on them as news, instead of offering another opinion poll as their standard of truth.
