I never left my home and had a fantastic experience with Doctor On Demand!

Well run (I'm assuming they all aren't...) Urgent Care Centers/Docs in a Box are the best thing to happen to healthcare in a long time...

Absolutely. I am fortunate to live in the Atlanta market where I am served by one of the large IDNs here. I'm accidentally a member since my original Generalist/Internist who I've been with for 20 years became a part of this network 15 years ago. I purposely book specialist appointments from within their network as my PHR is available to all (including me online), the attention and level of care (or perceived care) I get is a "10", and I do not see how they could do a better job at what they do. neither I nor family work there so this is not bias, but I do have friends in the local healthcare scene (CRNAs and Nurses - and THEY know the truth), who also have good things to say about this network.

For my PCP, absolutely. I appreciate his honesty, his interest and support of best practices. He remains fully engaged, even when he has to train his visual attention to the nuances of the practice's EMR. The Practice is routinely voted one of the "Best Places to Work". The downside? He won't cut me any slack on my BMI.

"I would not want to belong to a club that would have me as a member"
, quoting Woody Allen . I would not want to go to the ER at the hospital where I work which is why I am leaving
