How many adult-supervised hours behind the wheel should new drivers be required to drive before obtaining their driver's license?
The current North Carolina Level One Limited Learner Permit requirement of 60 (or more) hours of adult-supervised driving.
The current North Carolina Level Two Limited Provisional License requirement of 12 hours (or more) of driving, 6 of which must occur during nighttime.
The number of hours, as well as and daytime vs. nighttime driving, should be up to the driver's parent or guardian.
