    I think the law needs to be re-written. What should be elected is the CHIEF PROSECUTOR, not the Attorney General.

    The AG theoretically represents both the governor and the people depending on the case at hand. Sometimes there can be a conflict of interest, creating a legal quagmire.

    The Chief Prosecutor's job is to bring perpetrators who commit various crimes to trial. So change the law to elect a Chief Prosecutor and then make the CP an autonomous office.

    she can't even do her job now....what could she possibly do with more autonomy?
