I don't get how iannarilli from south isn't in this and dodrill is ? Parra and iannarilli shared league mvp so how could a kid that didn't win league mvp be rockland player of year? Just doesn't make sense... Surprised you didn't put all 4 north rockland players on this list. And let me guess you already have them winning the section championship next year !

This kid Ianarelli from South can flat out hit.....525 vs a very tough schedule and always seeing another teams #1 or 2........Ive been around section 1baseball for 25 years and have seen a lot of good hitters but 525 is outrageous and their coach is tough with his stats ! To leave this kid out would be unjust !!! He will do well in college with those hitting mechanics.

I couldn't agree more with Mike. I have no ties to Clarkstown South, it's players or coaches. To leave Peter Ianarilli off the Player of the Year list is an absolute joke. He was the best player in Rockland County. Another example why LoHud can't be taken seriously. Someone didn't do their scholastic baseball homework

Peter Iannarilli had the best high school offensive season i have seen in over 10 years of coaching varsity baseball. He batted .525 against a tough schedule and played 11 gmes with wood bats. In league olay he bated .680. To not have him on this list is a ridiculous... How could he of played any better. In addition he had the highest batting average in allbof section 1 in class AA A and B schools
