WWJD: I am not a catholic. Question: If that had been perpetrated by leaders of a big Bank or Credit Union, would these people be worried that they will go into bankruptcy over their criminal behavior????? Just because you are a doctor doesn't mean that you are right. Just another bright blind ignorant.

The preying priests and those who knew of their actions have already been morally bankrupt. If this bill means that the survivors get any kind of retribution for their pain and suffering bring on the bankruptcy of the archdiocese. Lifting the statute of limitations not only serves those involved with this church scandal but those who have been or will be survivors of other unfortunate sexual crimes.

This bill gives the victims the option to seek justice after the person/s and the institution that allowed this diabolical action to be perpetuated over many years in the church. We need to include the institution, as we have seen in the past where leaders of the Church did not address the abuse issues when they surfaced, rather than removing the predator, they re-assign him to another location where he continues to prey on the vulnerable members of society. The most important message we can sent to our society is that we do not hide and sweep these crimes, If we are unable to reform the perpetrator, at lease remove him or her from being a danger to our children. This message has to be taken seriously by all institutions.

We are very sad about the deplorable clergy behavior on Guam. Many are psychologically and emotionally impacted by these events. Our support goes to all victims of immoral and repugnant behavior.

At this time, hold tight! This is a billion dollar case. It will be for compensations to all families and individuals suffering from this illicit behavior. If this case correctly followed to its rightful end it would bring more than a billion dollars to the island and it would come from Rome. Finally, Justice will be done!

Funny how its only the Catholic Church hierarchy that is very concerned, yet other institutions are not; on top of that we, the majority of the Catholic faithful support this Bill. I believe that the only reason that other faithful signed the petition opposing the Bil which was initiated this past Sunday l is simply because they were instructed to from the pulpit, not fully understanding the history behind the Bill but in blind obedience to the priest's suggestions from the pulpit. One would say the hierarchy (not the local Church members) have taken very drastic sudden measures to cover up some things which can potentially be revealed if ever individuals in our Archdiocese were taken to court.
