If his contract is being terminated than the people should know why..I've heard that he has been doing a good job and that DOE is in a better place with him at the helm..my daughter told me that he goes around at her school and talks to students and faculty. I've never heard that about other superintendents. Are they pissed cause he outshines them....

Guam is land of the Stupid. If the offense is so bad to terminate Fernandez, then criminal charges should be brought. The board basically made an attorney's report Judge and Jury. Stupid People we are... OOG - Only on Guam. The board is made up of locals - who have brains of birds, let's get Asians on the board since they are smarter than the average Bear... locals are equivalent to DoDo Birds! This is why the Feds run their own schools cause local people continue to prove how stupid they are.

The people should demand opening-up the boards dirty shenanigans. DOE has become more unstable with a an elected board. I think it is time to remove the board.

No it's a personnel matter and therefore confidential. The victim has rights too. No to satisfying the nosiness of the mob!

No one person is irreplaceable, or above the safety and/or security, of the people in the workplace. Mr. Fernandez's accomplishments do not offset his alleged questionable behavior. We the people of Guam must demand, and expect, higher standards of all our leaders. We can no longer base our judgement on a biased perspective due to a personal relationship with said person. We must look to do what's right for the overall betterment of our island. Biba Guam!

The board members have been chewed out in one form or another by the Superintendent for not doing anything for the educational system for decades and that is the main reason why they want to get him out of the system. They were all sitting pretty in their jobs doing nothing but when they got caught, they all planned this fictitious allegation to have him ousted. It was all a conspiracy theory and that is why they don't want the report published. There is nothing to back their claims. Superintendent Fernandez has done nothing but repair the educational system on GUAM and fix our schools. He should sue all of them for slander and defamation in my opinion.

Honestly, I am sad about our Superintendent because he is,an Asser" to our island school. I have met him many times & have seen his positive support for our school, employees, parents & moat of all our main concern on "Students" He,was hired to do the job & obviously was the best candidate & now we're moving foward for the best decision has to be made. I am sadden because he,has done a great job that wife & kids were always supporting him on our "Chamoru" functions. Prayers for our Superintendent John Fernandez & his family that this is happenibg. Only know that desperate people go through extreme to destroy others cause they are miserable & unhappy. My phrase us "BULA KALAKAS"and,ax waste of $$$$$ for our Guam Public School System.

Did anyone stop and think that maybe Mr. Fernandez might not want it made public? His lawyer might do that when the time is right.

and the PDN should be leading the effort, starting with a page one editorial
reminding the board and an incompetent counsel that this is the public's money

For our kids. Save the best DOE Superintendent Guam has ever had by signing and sharing this petition. Underwood & the Board are screwing with our children.

Too many variables here...Jon Fernandez seem to have been rail roaded not just by the Education Board, but with MESA, JOE SANCHEZ, and company. Seems like there are MANY opportunists from Ken Chargualaf (Pare' Ken). Rose Tainatonge, and Lou. WTH??? Why would former DOE Narissa not make a stand for Fernandez?...because she does not want to be out-shined...just like Rosa Tainatongo. Joe Sanchez, I REALLY have a new low opinion of YOU and your ETHICS and MORALS. Why behind the scene of assiging MESA to a Asst. Super position? Where are your brains man!...Don't tell me your MA is not kicking into high gear with all this SH@T going on JS. Whats up with your moral compass? It seems like it all went to hell.

As far as Ken Chargualaf making it as the Super, HELL TO THE NO!!! He can NEVER imitate or even intimidate Jon Fernandez. I smell a lawsuit coming and I hope MESA gets his ass sued BIG TIME. What a lame excuse of a DOE employee this MESA is. Doesn't the DOE Board know how many sexual unwanted shit he's mentioned to people and to those he dresses down with his eyes and horny urges? WOW! DOE, this is an ALL TIME LOW!...Good luck with all the SHIT that is gonna come your way. Hope it was worth it, Ken, Lou, and Rosa, and those who voted Jon Fernandez out. He is more local than you all will ever know. What a bunch of DOE Board dumbass MFs...STUPID...
