Should we refer the prizes that players fight over and then defend as Legacies or Boons?

I think there's some sort of a proofing mistake in the text in the image above:

"Yes, the gold will buy you kingdoms, but it won't to stop your neighbours from killing you and taking it."

"Won't to stop"? Is that correct?

I think that leaving them as "legacy" is fine, as it provides this idea that we're inheriting something. A boon is grated, a legacy is found.

Legacy is way better than Boon. Boon sounds like a minor benefit (in fact boon is kind of another word for "benefit"). Legacy sounds like something ancient and great.

I really don't think that there will be any confusion, so don't change it just to change it. I really don't have a preference, but I voted legacy because that's what you guys want to call it!

Boon seems better to me. It's less common.

I didn't connect it with Legacy games. Maybe there would be confusion if you called it Lairs Legacy. But I'm also okay with the word "boon."

I'm familiar with both Risk Legacy and Pandemic Legacy, but I didn't immediately associate the term Legacy with those games. I feel like the term Boon just doesn't carry the same weight. Legacy implies grandeur and great power to me, while a boon implies "+1 to your saving throw" levels of power. Risking your life for a Boon, just doesn't seem as meaningful as risking your life for a Legacy.

Don't personally care, but like the other one said, might be smart because of marketing.

I don't personally care, but changing to Boone allows for less confusion in marketing for others.
